Does Aromashodu mean no more Welker/Campbell

I imagine we only dress 5 WRs in a game so does the drafting of Aromashodu mean that Welker or Campbell? I hear good things about this Auburn kid but do we really need 6 WRs?

Projected WR corps:
1. Chris Chambers
2. Marty Booker
3. Derek Hagan
4. Devin Aromashodu
5. Wes Welker
 
no welker will play. it will go chambers,booker,campell,hagan,welker,devin a, than russell. welker is a guy who will make catches over the middle and come in on long 3rd downs and so on. its not the end if wes welker.
 
No not really. Aromashodu may make the final roster, but I think he might be a PS player or maybe they will even carry 6 recievers this year. Welker and Campbell are good recievers, but will really help us in the return game. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
 
I don't see Aromashodu ahead of welker or campbell on the depth chart, at least this year. He might not even make the team.
 
If all else fails Campbell can be kept on as a return man with secondary duties as a WR (didn't he play QB as well?)

yup! and devin will make the team and he'll be ahead of welker in the WR postition, but wes is still valuable to us in the return game. thats y we dress him.

From what I have seen, Devin is a better return guy than Wes.
 
Wait for TC. Injuries are possible. Competition is great. Depth is awesome. If Aromashodu outperforms everyone, I'm sure he'll get a spot.
 
I'm actually looking at Devin Aromashodu as the potential KR/PR. I think he may spell Kelly Campbell goodbye.

1-Chris Chambers
2-Marty Booker
3-Derek Hagan
4-Wes Welker
5-Devin Aromashodu/Kelly Campbell

Truly, I think those three guys; Welker, Devin, & Campbell - they will battle each other for the final 2 spots. One of them will get a spot just for being the better return man.

Actually, I think Campbell makes the squad before Welker does...In fact, Campbell is probably #4 at least on your list...
 
Saban likes depth at critical positions. He saw NE go through several WRs over this past season.

CBS Sportsline mentioned that Devin Aromashodu caught 83% of the passes tossed his way. I suspect he'll be the fourth WR in a four WR spread.
