Does Miami Want A FB?

We did go after Leach last year and John Kuhn is available. He played for Philbin in GB, is a top FB, a VG blocker in run and pass, and a good receiver but, is 31.

On the other side, if Lazor follows what was done is Philly, they never used a FB, and did not have one on the roster. Moreno also never had a FB in Denver. Both teams had much better blocking, which may make a difference.

Should we be looking to add a Kuhn or, would the limited play not be worth a roster spot?

Kuhn is a recognized team leader with high character. He could be handy in creating some holes for Moreno and Miller. He could also be decent in short yardage situations. Low cost possible good value. I'd strongly consider getting him.
Joe seems to have been reticent about recruiting any player from Green Bay that he had ties to. Time to smash that unwritten rule and piss off his old buddy Mike McCarthy. The Packers have had great success from Kuhn for a long time and he is a team leader, but they seem reticent to pay up. Definitely worth investigating.

Agree that Kuhn would be a great sign as a FB. Just don't know if we need or want one.

at the moment the answer is no.

The Dolphins are still searching for an all-purpose tailbacks, but don't see much value in a fullback.

We definitely need a fullback, I don't get why teams don't keep at least on the roster for short yardage. I thought Javorskie Lane was a beast blocking and catching screens out of the backfield.

You will most likely see us roll in 2014 without a FB because of this, I doubt he changes his philosophy.

He was signed by the Patriots, and he didn't make us "Pay" for it.
Then the Falcons, and he's presently not on an NFL roster.
