I'd love to see RT in the same offense next season.

If we hire a defensive coordinator, Lazor could be back. If we hire someone with head coaching experience, good chance Lazor is canned.

I think there is a good chance Lazor stays no matter who is the HC, as long as that person thinks Tannehill is the guy. Nobody in their right mind should want to put RT into ANOTHER system after being in this one for just a single year. Especially when he's shown how effective he can be at running it when he gets decent blocking.

Not sure I buy that argument. Tannehill now has experience with two different offensive systems, and I think most people agree he really picked up this new one only about three weeks into the season. I don't think that should be a concern at all.

If you brought Gary Kubiak or Mike Shanahan in here, Tannehill already knows a lot of those offensive concepts from his time with Mike Sherman, and you'd have the added benefit of simply having a better offense that better suits the QB.

Don't get me wrong, I like Bill Lazor, but we don't run the ball, we don't run boots or move the quarterback around very much, we don't play from center (except for deep PA shots, which are predictable), and we don't attack the seams. Those are all things that would make Ryan Tannehill better, and would be worth making him learn a new offense.
