I've really never seen the ball floating so much as today. There have been so many chances for an opportune defense to grab a ball that has been up there, and we just haven't had anybody even close. This defense lacks ball skills entirely, and its going to hurt us. Vontae could have had an easy pick but he instead interfered because he didn't even know the ball was there, Bell had one fall right in front of him, and there have been 3-4 other balls just sitting there in the air for a player to break on them. Nobody has.
I'm not gonna whine about Allen not being here, he was mediocre or worse his entire time here. But I still don't like that we got rid of the only guy out of all of these who has shown the ability to pick off even more than one pass an entire season. Paul Soliai will probably get a pick before anyone in our secondary does.
