Everytime you see him in the game he's just standing there with his headset on. I have never ever seen him speak a single word, not even try to motivate his team or speak to his coordinators.

It's like this guy is just a puppet and someone else is pulling the strings behind him. I know Manning calls his own plays sometimes and when he's given plays by the OC he often audibles to something else but damn, this head coach just doesn't seem to be doing anything out there. I want a job like that.

Can anyone vouch that he actually deserves to have that job?

As a head coach you do what works best to put your team in position to win. If that involves letting Peyton Manning run the show, let him. I won't criticize him for not trying to dominate the scene, as long as the Colts win (which they have done and will continue to do) there is no way so say he should do anything different.

Ya I think he is just a face in the organization. If you have Manning you are not going to disrupt the way he plays, he would just audible out of it or call his own plays that work.

I think he's a lot like Dungy. He isn't very emotional when the cameras are rolling. Behind the scenes... who knows.

Well, you have to think that with a guy like Peyton who dominates the game and the team, there is enough emotion there to fill the team bus. In this case, it's the coaches job to keep a stabilizing presence.

yeah I was thinking this too, it has its benefits. While your team won't get too high off the coach's energy or lack of they won't get too low either.

Dont have to do much talking when ur 9-0 watch him in the playoffs and see if its still the same way

yeah he wears 18 and plays qb for the team
