I doubt the weather will come even close to what it was in KC this past weekend. Perhaps the football Gods looked favorably on us again this year by making us play in the coldest game in franchise history.

How can the weather be an excuse now? How can or opponents like the cry baby Bills talk about the weather being an advantage.

I believe the cold of KC has turned into our advantage.. that the win is more than a statistical victory, but a huge mental one.. It's going to come down to 3 things..
1. Heart
2. Discipline
3. Execution..

... and the Dolphins play executioner to Favre's career this Sunday!

GO PHINS!:hi5:

I think it will definitely help. The forecast right now is calling for mid 40's so that will feel like a warm bath from what they just went through. Not bad either way.

The arctic weather was more or less our "baptism by fire." It confirmed that although we have holes, we're a "for real" well-coached cohesive and focused team that can rise to the occasion by overcoming adversities. Calculating in the windchill, unless a game is shifted to Anchorage or Winnipeg (the two coldest areas in North America), most any climate we encounter will be an improvement.

I think Sporano icing down those footballs is what made the difference on Sunday

YES! No doubt about it. Since they played the COLD KC game so close to the JETS game helps too. They are gonna think the cold in NY will be NOTHING compared to the temp at KC. I'll take 50-40 degrees over 12 degrees ANY day.

Man, It was awesome seeing Jake Long out there in short sleeves. He loved it.

the jets game will be just as cold. the kc game was good preparation. favre being from green bay, you would think would be better in the cold. the truth is that in his old age, the cold is not kind to him. i live in chicago and remember him playing against us last year in this cold, and he sure didnt' have it. he didn't want to be there.

well in seattle favre didnt look like he wanted to be out there either.

I just hope we dont get screwed on a stupid play or call so that Favre is in the playoffs

yesterday was one of the coldest days I have had to endure in a very long time. That wind in Aarowhead was burning cold. I killed atleast 5 facial muscles.....but it was so worth it to see Miami do their thing. JP looked very cold though. He didnt play fullspeed.

Well in the KC game it looked like the bad weather had a effect on both the fins and chiefs defenses but if our offense can put up points we are in good shape against anyone anywhere.

The cold was clearly affecting our defensive play in the first, as the guys obviously shied away from contact allowing for their players to run practically unabated through our defense. This team showed tremendous resolve in overcoming their issues and getting a win.

this game was huge for us, we got the monkey of never winning in real cold off our back, New York will feel like St. Lucia after last week...lets get it done!!!

The coldest game in Dolphin history, and we came through.. especially with a 4th qtr, 13 play 8 minute drive.. An awesome come from behind win.

I don't want to hear this cold weather BS anymore.

We are simply going to beat the Jests.. hands down. They better be ready for US!

Minus 12 windchill factor....
