With the Rams moving up to the first pick to nail a quarterback, that means that for sure two quarterbacks will be gone before 13, which was probably going to happen anyway with Goff rising. So does this trade snowball down to us at all? Thoughts?

I have to think the Rams are drafting a QB. I don't think it makes a difference either way.

not picking at 8 hurt us.

could have helped us had we had pick 8 and the qb hungry teams after the top 2 were gone maybe reached for Paxton lynch

might help you if you want Ronnie Stanley...that could potentially fall to us now

I think something to consider now is the needs of each team- Rams/Titans. Who has needs more similar to ours? The Titans now have a lot of picks to take players we may want. On the other hand, what do the Rams need that they now will not be able to pick?

It hurts. After Miami, there aren't many QB needy teams other than Denver. With the Rams not being at 15, Miami won't be in a position of control if a team wanted to trade up and get a QB before the Rams at 15.

The only trade that hurt us was by our own hand in moving from the #8 spot.

I know ot isn't sexy but if Ronnie stanley does fall to us that needs to be given hard consideration...cause if bushrod is here to play guard we got hot garbage at tackle albert insurance wise

Yep, Stanley could fall to us. What are the prospects of him playing inside for a year or 2 ala La'el Collins before shifting outside? Does he have the chops? If so, I would def be very interested at 13.

Thats what I was thinking. Ronnie Stanley being more in the picture and personally if he is think it may be a huge decision, especially considering the options for CB will still be good in the second rd.

Well obviously it hurt us. I mean we did trade down. It would hardly help us....

Whether the deal we got was worth it or not will remain to be seen. If we were still at 8, there would be a greater chance of 3 QBs being taken top 7 and then we would have had a legit shot a one of the marquee players. But I'm not sure Lynch will sniff the top 10, even for a very QB needy team. I think the chances of 3 QBs going before 8 are less than 30%.

I heard talk that He can play G which is perfect if Alberts health and age are not preventing him from being on the field.....Also save more cap next year if we could released Albert...

it makes good sense, though OL in the 1st its not very thrilling

It overwhelmingly helps. Now the top 2 picks are almost certainly going to be QB's. This forces San Fran into a tough spot. Maybe they panic and take somebody like Paxton Lynch at 7, or maybe another team trades up into the top 10 to take him. If three QB's go ahead of Miami, that's an extra position player dropping down.
