This is close to something that I find interesting. I don't think it's about caring to win. If you play in the NFL, you want to win. Even the Texans, and any other team in the NFL goes out to win every game. Confidence might be shot after starting the season off poor and no hopes of playoffs, but if players don't play hard, they're going to get hurt. The fight may not be there, but I assure you that in Week 2...it is for every team.
The question I would like to see raised, is does this team know how to win? That's the real question. Even with the wins at the end of the year last year, I don't know if this team really has the sense of knowing how to win games against key foes, or key divisional games. I think last year's streak taught them that the system works if you buy into it. I think these guys just need the idea of knowing how to win big games again. Zach and Jason knew how to on Dolphin teams past, even Chambers and McMichael to a degree. We have players on our team that have won big games with Kevin Carter, Keith Traylor, and some others. I just think they have to pull together, get a tough win against a big opponent to get the confidence that they can do it. I really expect the Dolphins to beat the Titans this next week. The Texans game will be very, very close against a hungry team that wants to win against it's old coach, and has a scheme that has stopped us in the past. But, if we can pull it out, we could head into NE 2-2 with another opportunity to do something special.
