...make you want to see the Dolphins do the same with Henne?

How excited are all the Jets fans right now, knowing that they have a young QB and defensive head coach to build on............ugh just typing that makes me want to hurl.

Anyways, we can't let the '08 season cloud the bigger picture. Penny was GREAT for the Dolphins because of how he brought us from the ashes........but the guy just isn't the future, nor the present IMO.

Give Henne the opportunity to prove himself on the big stage....

Free the Dolphins, Free Chad Henne!

I know so many wanted Sanchez to be a bust much like Ryan the previous year. I give credit where credit is due , it seems like they made a great trade and he is playing well for a rookie. its still real early

Yeah...but like in Baltimore with Flacco he had a dominant defense. The Jets look like they got a real defense over there.

Management just plays it too close to the vest on offense. Henne will not see the field this year unless Pennington gets hurt, or just maybe if the team is out of playoff contention.I watched Sanchez today and he looked good. As long as he doesnt get hurt hes got a bright future. Sad to see all these good young QB's playing while the Dolphins "future" rides the pine again waiting for something. Henne needs to play this year to see if he's the real thing, but I guess as long as he doesnt play he can stay the "future".

Well at some point we have to stop making excuses why others can succeed but it may be a valid point.

Your prediction IMHO will come true. They are giving it next year for Henne.

Hmm. Sanchez is playing not to lose. Trying to keep turnovers to a minimum. Nothing flashy. He's a terrific QB. Pennington does the same thing, and he's the worst QB in the league. Perhaps someone can straighten that out for me? If only we had one of the best O-Line's in the NFL like the Jets. And a very good running game like the Jets do. :(

Every other team that succeeds we seem to find an excuse that they can and we cant.

The jets expect to win with Sanchez. You can see it in the swagger of the jets team this year. A good QB elevates his team.Even one that hasnt done much yet.

For all the people b*tching and moaning that we don't throw the ball far enough, Tom Brady in his 50 throws yesterday only attemped 2 throws for more than 20 yards.

One was incomplete. The other was intercepted.

New England was off their game yesterday big time. The Jets owned the LOS and Brady was hearing footsteps. Great gameplan by the Jets coaching staff. I have a feeling things will be a little different when they play again in New England.

I think the most common excuse here would be "But Pennington can't throw it past the line of scrimmage." :) Whether true or not, it's hard to deny that because we don't throw it very far, defenses don't have to worry about the long ball.

Personally, I just want to see some offense for the rest of the year; Penny or Henne, I don't care. Just think of it like this: the longer we wait for Henne, the better it will be when he plays... especially if he does relatively well.

There's no reason Henne couldn't have the same success if not MORE than Sanchez.....

Sanchez was like 3-5 with 35 yards the 1st half. Pats got stopped entirely the 2nd half. Its so damn early, Im not sold on him just yet.
