Fans of the Dolphins,
This winning season is for US.
As a whole, I firmly believe that we have lived through tougher times than any other NFL team in the past 10 years (The Lions a close 2nd). Whether its been losing or terrible personnel decisions or just plain stupid moments which have embarrassed us nationally, we've unconditionally been a terrible franchise. However, we the fans have stuck around, weathering all of the horrible pain-staking blunders our franchise has done to us.
I am so proud of the fans that are still here (and there are many, MANY of us), because Lord knows a team like the Patriots doesn't know what pain is.
Lets us reminisce about what has happened to us:
To those who've experienced all of this, we deserve this playoff run. No team deserves it more than us. Despite all of the blunders, we the fans are still here supporting the Dolphins until we die.
Dolfans, I salute you!
GO PHINS!

Lets us reminisce about what has happened to us:
- Ricky Williams retiring at the apex of his career
- A 1-15 season
- Trading a 2nd round pick for A.J. Feely AGHGHH
- The quarterback carousel since Marino (resultant from a lack of QB drafting until Beck)
- Constantly trading draft picks for players who never pan out
- Ray Lucas blowing our season after a 5-1 start in 2002
- Blowing an 11-point 4th quarter lead to the Patriots to lose our playoff spot in 2002
- Marino becoming Vice-President of Football Operations only to retire three weeks later.
- Daunte Culpepper
- Watching our offense twiddle their thumbs for a decade while we wasted Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor's talent on defense
- Losing 62-7 to the Jaguars in the Playoffs in Marino's last game
- Trading a 4th round pick to Eagles to move up one spot to draft Vernon Carey (Eagles bluffed fake interest in Carey)
- 5 different head coaches in 5 years
- Adewale Ogunleye traded for Marty Booker after a 15 sack season
- Watching the Patriots win 3 Super Bowls
- Jason Taylor drama in 2008 offseason
- Trading Wes Welker (although we got Satele from it eventually)
- Losing to the Houston Texans (then lowly) in the first game of 2003
- Yatil Green, John Avery, Jamar Fletcher, Eddie Moore
- Passing up Anquan Boldin FOR Eddie Moore (despite strong fan support for Boldin)
- Passing up Drew Brees for Jamar Fletcher (despite fan support for Brees)
- Letting Pat Surtain/Sam Madison go
- Drastic 3rd round pick trade for Lamar Gordon mid-season
- Injuries, INJURIES, I.N.J.U.R.I.E.S!
- Nick Saban abandoning us for Alabama (only time I can think of where a coach was the one who wanted to leave without retiring)
To those who've experienced all of this, we deserve this playoff run. No team deserves it more than us. Despite all of the blunders, we the fans are still here supporting the Dolphins until we die.
