Teams are allowed to bring 30 non-local players to their headquarters for draft visits, and the Dolphins are summoning two University of Arizona players to Davie on Wednesday: cornerback Shaquille Richardson (good mix of size at 6-1 and speed, having run a 4.38 in the 40) and outside linebacker Marquis Flowers (a former safety with four interceptions and 6.5 sacks over the past two years). Neither was invited to the NFL Combine, but both have created a buzz.
XL Sports Management’s Marco Marciano, who represents both players with Frank Gaitan, said Flowers’ versatility and ability to cover tight ends and running backs out of the backfield is appealing to teams. Players cannot work out during visits to team headquarters but can meet with coaches, management and staff.

### One agent said the Dolphins told him they will be looking for a running back in the draft, and they feel they can find one in the mid-rounds if necessary. The top prospects --- all potential second-rounders --- include Ohio State’s Carlos Hyde, Auburn’sTre Mason, Baylor’s Lache Seastrunk and Washington’sBishop Sankey.... ESPN reported that Denver free agent running back Knowshon Moreno would love to join the Dolphins, but it's unclear if the interest is mutual.

### Though the Dolphins have inquired about Devin Hester, his agent said they hadn’t booked a visit as of Tuesday. Hester made his first visit to Atlanta today…. Notre Dame offensive tackle Zack Martin continues to make the most sense for Miami at No. 19, but ESPN’s Mel Kiper said Pittsburgh might take him at 15.

An OL with our first pick, RB with 2nd and CB with our 3rd sounds like a good start

I like that but I''d find a good LB in the top 3 picks to move Ellerbe outside and roll with our rookie corners from last year plus Finnegan.

Shaquille Richardson made one of the better defensive plays in all of college football last year...

I would rather have C.J. Mosley with our first pick he is a better value at 19 than a guard. We have a need at both positions but if I'm looking at Martin and Mosley both still available at 19 Mosley is the better player IMO.

no thanks to the OL in the first round. we've done that twice in the last 6 years and it's had little impact on the success of this team, the same as zach martin or any OL will have if we take them at 19.

saw CKP's tweets on Lache Seastrunk, so I watched his highlights. Dynamite player

Sign Moreno or Drew to a low cost 2 year deal and draft one of the RBs mentioned in the article. Have all of them compete with Miller.

so don't draft an OL because Ireland sucked? got it

There should be solid linemen available after the first round. At least that's what the draft guys are saying. Just because Ireland had to use a 1st round pick to get one doesn't mean that's the only way to go. I'd go into the draft looking for a couple o linemen , a linebacker , a running back and then maybe D lineman which ever way the players they like fall. BPA in one of those area's every round.

Run the ball. A new concept. i like it

The Pats are loading up on CB's so let's run it down their throats where Wilfork used to be.

We could go any number of ways. We need o line help, ILB help, an extra interior d lineman. I would be happy with Martin in the 1st and Borland from Wisconsin in the 2nd. 3rd could double up on o line. Would be a good start.

I am disappointed they have stopped "kicking the tires" of free agents. Still more work to be done after a nice start.

Unecessary sarcasm. He said FIRST round.
No one knows what Hickey's plans are, but I think he's looking to upgrade LB play on this team. Thats a much bigger need than DB.
