And now comes the grudge match. Depending on the availability of Jermon Bushrod (knee and ankle), Ola's sixth start could come Sunday against the Dolphins at Soldier Field. The Dolphins signed him in February only to cut him before organized team activities in May. By the time its all said and done Miami will be having a grudge match every week they play.

This team is very weak when it comes to evaluating talent, they're notorious for getting rid of good players. Remember Brian Tyms ?
I don't know what we fans see that the coaches don't before releasing players.

lol...is this going to be like Anthony Armstrong and everyone crying how we let him go to Washington and he was lighting it up when in reality he had 2 good games....in his entire career. Please.

he wasnt aces at tackle played better at guard...not the lateral move fit i think we would want...but i do think he should have made it longer than he did with us looking at him now

imo letting tyms go was a mistake...he's better than any not top 5 wr on our roster right now...tyms is a pro...the pats are figuring it out

What has Tyms done to be labeled as a good player? And notorious for getting rid of good players? That's a bit of a stretch. Every team goes through this, especially with rookies or undrafted players.

He caught a pass for a TD which on Finheaven translates to "he's going to the hall of fame and we let him go".

Tyms had infinitely more burst than Hartline -- heck, anyone on our roster not named Wallace.

Which is why the team is somewhat stuck on stupid for playmakers: The evaluation process for Philbin has been "who is currently more consistent," instead of "Who makes us a much greater team in the long run?"

Some of us were really disappointed to lose Tyms. And the people chosen for the roster over Tyms? People like Egnew and OL crap. And Thigpen. Imagine Tyms across from Wallace now, w. Landry in the middle: How is that not light years better than Hartline across from Wallace? All it takes is the ability to forward think for a roster and Tyms would still be a Dolphin. Legit NFL burst.

I'm sure Tyms will mention you when he goes into the hall of fame:

"I want to thank all the little people that made this possible, especially LDaniel7 who believed in me when no one else did. I'd also like to thank my coach Bill Belichick who's complete ineptitude at drafting WRs made it possible for me to make his team since not one of the WRs he put around Tom Brady are worth a darn."

That's actually pretty funny, lol.

Kudos for humor.

tyms is a more legitimate vertical threat than anyone on our roster not named mike wallace and unlike wallace he will go get the ball in the air on those vertical plays...should have never cut him...reminds me joquie bell who kept getting cut and every time i saw him in in someones camp and preseason i was like thats a pro when will these nfl teams wake up and finally detroit did...

how the browns cut tyms is beyond me...they got hot garbage all over that wr core

I liked Tymms as well. He will be a good player as long as Brady is playing.
With RT17 throwing him the ball, he would have the same stats as Matthews on this team.
He is better off on the Pats.

Completely agree.

Attack is the key here for me, and I see attack with Landry, AND Mathews and also recently re-signed Williams. I don't see that with Hartline at all, in fact I wonder if he has regressed a little. Gibson is on the outside looking in for me, but largely due to his injury - he clearly hadn't returned to 100% and now injured again.

A group of Tyms, Landry, Matthews and Williams topped off with a Wallace for another year or two would have been a real nice dynamic group. It's about playmaking and outside of Wallace and Landry - we're not getting much from the others in the passing game.

"Give Gator a Go" !!!
