This may not make any sense but I want to explain as to where I come from on the fins future. Look we all have goals and fears about the teams future so instead of bashing a player or coach I want share the future outlook and the posibilities that we as a team face.
Injuries have really hit this team hard and none of us including Sporano and company have no control over. some of you may not have any goals or fears for this team but I do and that is why I have been consistantly on people for making excuses.
First, fans should have expectations of winning the division or better and should never settle for less what should we as fans expect from the Miami Dolphins ? We should expect players to perform to what they are being paid for and at the level they are capable of.
Next, the goals for me is to reach a super bowl and to build a modern dynasty nothing else is acceptable. Unlike some fans I want the fins to be in the discussions when it comes to winning and all. it wont kill any of us as fans to want the prestige like the colts , Steelers and Pats.
what is a shame is 6 years ago we had players who were always mentioned a lot in a good way ,we had merchandise sales that used to rank in the top 10 but now we are at around 18 or 19th now. You can say Merchandise isnt important but really it is because it is a measuring tool to how much we are winning.
fears , two things here that bother me, one is how other teams can rebound so much quicker then the dolphins . The other fear is the pats are able to reload with numerous draft picks while we struggle to get picks. Next is the Jets have really improved more then what we have we just got real lucky in our last game with them. their defense is light years ahead of where we should be.
we are imporving but we did not beat a good team or playoff team as of yet. but we struggled against bad teams and lost to the Bills.
fear is why I get over dramatic at times . Fear is rearing up in lieu of our draft picks have really not made a big of impact as their salaries indicate.
the biggest fear is that coaching blunders continue to cause the team to be put in a position to lose to teams we should blow out.
if we keep our coordinators then I fear we will end up in the celler of the afc east for a long time.
this may be a unreasonable fear but if Buffalo hires a big time coach it wont take much to jump ahead of Miami and that is what I fear the most.
please dont rip me I just want Miami to rise up and make a name for itself and win big and win often.
