I know I am going to hear plenty over this, but after the last 2 weeks, I have to speak my mind. I have been a Miami Dolphin fan since I was born. (1971) And I have been with the Dolphins through a lot of good years and a few bad years. I have seen the fans cry out in the streets after we beat the Jets in the 1982 AFC Championship game to go to Super Bowl XVII. Well, after the last 2 games, which I will be the first to admit, have been extremely frustrating, the Dolphins without doubt, have the WORST fans in the history of all sporting teams. After the game yesterday, my wife and I were going back to the car in a great mood after a hard fought win, and all this moron beside me could do was tell me how I should trade my Culpepper jersey in.And that wasn't the only one. This lady in front of me was so drunk that one minute she was "praising Jesus" for a great play and the next she was calling the team MFers. I asked the guy if he even realized that we WON????? After that he shut up, but what our fans(not all, but it seems most) have come to is a disgrace! When we were up 13-10 with plenty of time left for Tennessee to score, people were leaving!!!!, they didn't want to stay 2 whole minutes to savor the first victory of the year. Absolutley a disgrace. I lived in Wisconsin for a few years, and let me tell you, the Packers could go 0-16 every flippin' year and that stadium would still be full and rockin. And yes, I know there is more to do down here, but old timers like me remember when South Florida was ALL about the Dolphins. Maybe, just maybe someday we can get back to that... someday! Heck, the Bills fans last week were more enjoyable than our fans. Do people even have a clue that the Dolphins have the HIGHEST WINNING PERCENTAGE in all the NFL since the merger? Fans, get a clue and if you don't like the Dolphins, stop complaining, move back to the state from which you came, and let the REAL fans stand up. Who knows, that might even help motivate our team a little bit instead of making them feel more pathetic. :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

You're right it's a disgrace. being a season tickey holder it is dispicable that the 'Fins were getting BOOED for being down 7-3. Really frustrating to sit there and listen to that

Hey, a liitle too much of Trigonometry, VA History, and Physics can make you hate reading

good read though

Next time I will post the cliff notes for ya.

Agreed

I don't even live in Florida and I agree. I'm pretty much a loner in Frankfort, Kentucky as far as the Dolphins. I have to listen to them on internet radio and I have to go see them play the Colts, if I get to see them at all. We had a tough game yesterday and it was fun to watch/listen to. Whoever told you to turn in your jersey needs to check and see who scored the only Miami touchdown. Idiots, I tell ya. My family keeps telling me that they need to put in Harrington and I keep saying "Have faith"! No, Culpepper is not a god... He's a human. He needs one break-out game... Anyways, yes some fans have been terrible the past couple of weeks. I'm thinking some of these fans are band-wagon fans... Aske the Bengals what band-wagon fans are. Well, good post and cheers to you for stating a very good point.:dolphins: :drinkers:

Great post. I agree 100%!!!

Thanks Guys,
I just love the Dolphins so much and I remember all those years when the opposing team HATED to come down here and play us because of our fans and how loud and united we were. And I really don't want to here about the stadium issue because it's just an excuse. If 76,000 fans showed up for every home game, not booing our own players, and cheered as loud as possible like the old days, things would be different, I guarantee it! Huzienga is spending the cash to make it happen, now let's do our part!!!!!! Go Fins!!!!:dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

I am not going to disagree with you because I was not there (I live in NH) and I was also disappointed that fans left early. I make it to 2-3 games each year and I have never left early. That being said, I keep hearing about "the worst fans ever". Frankly, that is crap. We are close to the Dolphins so it might seem that way but it is much more common than you think to have fairweather fans. Lot's of them! Damn, the Patsies have won 3 SB's in the past 5 years and they have been booing the crap out of them during their 2 home games this year. In the early 90's, the Patsies would only get 19-20K at a home game.

Miami averages a very strong attendance compared to the rest of the teams so there is obviously passion. I'm sure that there are many diehards that just can't afford to go to games but follow every play on TV or radio. Also, Miami has a HUGE national (and even international) following so bashing all Dolphins fans is not right. Frankly, I think people are tired of others starting posts about our fans. We all know the situation and it is not as bad as people make it out to be.

Actually our attendence figures are decieving, because those "sellout" games are not really soldout. There has never been a game in the last 5 years that I couldn't get good tickets to. Just watch Green Bay, Seattle, Pittsburgh, those fans know how to support their team. And watching it on TV is also very decieving. You can't hear what the fans are really doing because the TV camera doesn't show all that is really going on. Take it from someone who actually goes to the games!

My feeling exactly.I am a season ticket holder from md and my 13 year old son and I brought his best friend and dad who are raven fans and season ticket holders and I was a little embarrased to hear people booing.Ask youself one question how many ugly wins have the patriots had and they get praised for it,they call belicheck a genius and we get called overrated and saban is compared to wanny.Unbelieveable
