Dolphin Players Reacts to Draft

Everytime he gets the opportunity to speak Nate Jones makes a very good impression. I can't help but think that he has a great attitude to life and really enjoys playing the game. I know that Nate is seen as just a nickel back and special teams player but I sense that he is a good influence in the locker room. His enthusiasm is contagious. Hope he has a good season..

well,is not like they're going to say that they don't want any new players on the team....but the fact is that they know(Bell)that we need help in the secondary and when you can start 4 good players back there they make each other better.

Ozzy rules!!

I find it funny that they talk to Nate Jones, a CB who may lose his job to these rookies. His family may get derailed if he has a bad practice or two during training camp and he is still pretty chill talking about it. Nate Jones is a very professional person it seems. I like him!

I don't think it's Nate Jones who's going to lose his job. Jason Allen? First in line.

I really can't decide what personel move was the worst by Saban

1. Drafting Jason Allen in the 1st rd
2. Giving up our 2nd rd pick for Culpepper
3. Not only giving up a draft pick for Harrington but giving him enough starts to turn that pick into a 5th rd pick.
4. Not signing FA Steve Hutchingson
5. Passing on Drew Bress
6. Not trading up to get Cutler
7. Making poor Manny cry in TC

Take your pick on where Jason allen goes on that list of all time failed off seasons in by this organzation. Drafting him has to be in the top 5 of saban's mistake. I think I am one the very few who was happy that he lied and took that job. I dont care that he lied I was just happy he was gone.

I'm gonna be honest, and admit that I said " Who the hell is that? " when Nate Jones came up ..

i doubt Nate Jones will be gone. he played pretty well when given the chance to. he was a prolific blitzer, too. remember, he was hand-picked by the FO to come here. same with Eric Green this off-season. if i had to guess, i'd say we'll keep Will Allen, Eric Green, Nate Jones and obviously Davis and Sean Smith at CB, Yeremiah Bell and Tyrone Culver at SS and Gibril Wilson and Chris Clemons at FS.

I would have to say 2, and 5 should be together, and by far would be the worst move, but hey who knew how things would work out.
