Dolphin Playoff Chances

How likely is it that the Dolphins make the playoffs

I'm gonna jump out and say 60%. If we go 9-7 we're most likely in. 8-8 is an outside shot. Don't ask me why, but I think the second half of the Jests game gave this group of misfit toys some confidence.

I have absolutely no idea what this team will do. I am so utterly befuddled by them that I no longer have ANY idea what to expect.

I could see them getting it all together, going 4-0, and blowing out the Patriots, 24-0, then causing a serious problem for other teams in the playoffs.

I could also see them folding like a cheap tent and going 0-4, and then having Ross clean house.

I just don't know. I'd flip a coin. So...I was the first vote for 50%

yup. You pretty muched summed up my thoughts right there. Nothing would surprise me.

I said 60%, so not far off your 59%. I kind of feel sorry for you in a nice way, I use to to this type of thing until I realized it was 100% a waste of time each year, especially when you do not control your own destiny. There is still a 1/4 of a season left in reality. Lots can happen. What I do know as a Fin fan, the dolphins WILL make you cry!

I went with 20%. I figured I would let history be our guide, and over the last 10 years when we have been in this situation we usually find a way for end up watching the playoffs from the couch. Hope I'm wrong, doubt I am.

i got crucified the when i said 40% at the beginning of the season, and i'm sticking with 40%.

This team is not good enough to make the playoffs. If by some miracle they do, they will back in and be one and done.
 
That chart is saying that we have a 59% chance to NOT make the playoffs. You guys have it backwards. Says we have a 38% chance to grab the 6th seed......Not a 59% chance.

Yep. History is supposed to be a pretty good indicator. I went with 30% because I see a chance, albeit a small one, to beat Pittsburgh and if that happens everything's possible.
 
I think we need to win all four and even that might not be enough. That loss to Baltimore is really going to come back to haunt us like many of us predicted at the time.
