simple: Saints are 3 and 0, and Dolphins are 1 and 2. And, after watching the way the Saints played as a team last night, I have to honestly say that for the first time in over 30 years of being a Dolphin fan that I found more reasons to be a Saint fan than I have recently had to be a Dolphin fan. When Zach retires there are going to be even fewer reasons to be a Dolphin fan. I am struggling to identify with more of the team. I never thought I would have this problem, but maybe I just need to take a deep breath and focus on my long loyalities to the team.

Dude, nothing could compare to the excitement last night, look what those people went through, dont doubt your loyalty to your team based on what you saw last night, it's hard to match that, keep the faith man, im a Jet's fan, trust me, my loyalty has been tested over the years, especially last year, it will get better.

I must admit watching the game last night that I felt a little envious regarding their fans in the staduim, man that looked like a playoff game even a SB atmosphere. Then after the MNF I watched last sunday's game and yea big difference. But noway Im changing my team hang in there bud like the jets fan said it will get better if not this few games then next year.

I had said this before that i see them making the playoff but people disagree with me brees and bush are something to fear...

No comparisons please. The Saints are for real this year. Now I know why Brees chose New Orleans over Miami....

PHINZ RULE!!!

The electricity in that stadium last night rivaled that of a Superbowl. The pre-game u2/Green Day, the colors , the everything!
I don't think the Saints next home game will be quite that exciting. As the season goes on, they return to their old form. Remember, they're the Saints. They'll be 8-8 and we'll be 10-6 and going into the playoffs. All of this will be forgotten. Never give up the faith.
AS for Daunte, don't give up on him yet.
It seems that people forgot that we won the other day. We won. Not pretty, but we won.

Brees didn't choose NO over Miami. Saban chose Culpepper over Brees. There's a big difference there.

The saints are not for real this year. They played amazingly well, but have more weaknesses than we do. Things will unravel for them, but until now they have been riding an emotional high which was at its highest point last night. The motivation those players have had has been amazing, but it will dissipate a little and so will their wins.

I dont know about that. They have an offensive juggernaut! Bush, Brees, McAllister, Horn. Thats a pretty nice foundation!

How can you compare ANY team outside of their division to ANY other team in the NFL? And my next question is, what sense does it make to do this?

If we're going to do that, we compare favorably to the 1-2 panthers but not so much to the 3-0 Ravens. See how silly that sounds to make that comparison? :shakeno: The only teams you can make a case for comparing our team to would be the Pats, Jets or Bills.
