Nexted year in the whole month in December.Im going away to Mirconesia with my family.Its were my wife is born.Out there the got no Direct TV.Can you watch the game on finheaven.The only thing i will have out there is my lab top.Please tell me is there anything i can do to watch the games.I will die without Dolphin football.I will buy any type of cell phone.I will buy anything to watch dolphin football.

I heard on the news that Yahoo will be merging with NFL to watch games online. Sort of like MLB TV. I think that'll be pretty cool for those who can't catch the games of their favorite teams. The didn't day exactly when will it be in effect.

I am in the same boat as you; in that I am out of the viewing coverage area of the Fins, and have no access to a dish.
Recently a computer savvy friend of mine told me about a new piece of harware designed for hosting a video signal at a private IP address.
This small box was designed mainly for security camera inputs, so that one could access the video feed to his/her security camera from any computer in the world with sufficent high speed connection.
With this piece of hardware, it is possible to connect either a local TV broadcast, or Dish broadcast to your computer and host a streaming video (with some lag, and loss of quality) at a private IP address. I think it may even be as easy as a pair of Audio/Video plugs and a USB port. I believe they also require a password to access.
In other words, if anyone on this site was inclined enough to purchase this equipment, host the streaming broadcast every sunday, and post the IP address and password every week; Dolfans from around the world would be forever gratefull.

Yahoo and CBS Sports let you track the game on your computer...no picture but live stats....you often can pick up the sound broadcast over some radio feeds as well but not sure if anyone lets you view the game like MLB does.

DirecTV movers plan... move for the month then move back...
DirecTV makes a great early christmas gift for the in-laws and there is usually free NFL season ticket for new subscribers that time of year...
Leave the TV on at home with a webcam pointed at it...
Find a local fin fan with DirecTV and offer to bring the beer...
All else fails have a buddy burn them and then send them out to you....
