I do not think you will get any Biters for Mare, main reason is GMs know he will be released, because you have already signed another kicker. IMO

But a 7th round pick guarantees a team Mare instead of going through the FA order/cycle. I doubt they'll pull a trade off, but they're obviously trying for a reason.

Obviously there's enough interest in Mare that the Dolphins are waiting for the highest bidder. Mare still has plenty of leg, I think we get a pick for him.

If we could get a pick for mare that would be great, we could draft for depth with the pick. We already have a kicker so it isn't like we would have to draft another one.

I hope somebody bites, but it's not like we won't cut him. His touchbacks aren't THAT valuable to the team.

I agree about interest. But let me ask why would a team give up a pick for a kicker when You have Thynes that would not cost you one.

Not saying anything is possible but giving a pick for a kicker, that will be released to me is assnine IMO

They will hold mare till the very last minute before releasing him, and screw up training camp, if he is not bargained for. If someone wants him, they will trade for him.

I defitnetly think Mare has Value if not he would have been realeased. Im sure he is being Considered in the Trent Green trade talks. KC needs a K.

Exactly, and thats what I was trying to say on these boards yesterday. If we couldnt get a pick from McMike, then we arent from Mare either. Teams knew we were just gonna cut McMike so they waited, teams will do the same for Mare.

That is also true. I just wish we could have gotten a 5th or 6th from STL for McMike. If we can get something, 6th or a 7th for Mare than that would be awsome though. Lets stockpile picks in this draft and get Cam the players he wants to work with.

were gonna hold him until a team gets desperate and gives us a 5th roudner or something. Someone will do it. You watch. Stuff always happens to kickers.

We were talking about not allowing him to participate in practice and stuff. That spells long term hold out.

people will not trade for Mare..... They do not want to assume that contract. He is already one of the highest paid kickers in the league. When he is cut, he will be playing for half of the money.
