Peter Schrager on NFL Network's Good Morning Football: The biggest winner of Night 1 was the Miami Dolphins. Per sources, the no. 1 wide receiver on their board wasn’t Ja’Marr Chase. Their no. 1 wide receiver was Jaylen Waddle. They traded back into the top 10 with a specific plan to get him.

Uh-huh. What are they going to admit they didn’t get the best guy coming out. Cmon. Everyone gets “their guy” after draft day. I’m sure the Raiders were going to take Leatherface even if they had had the 7th pick.
I believe that's who they targeted when they traded back up to 6. Not Pitts or Chase.

Could be, but no teams leaders are less transparent and edited in the media than Flo-Grier. And I don't mind it may be an advantage.

I remember when Bears drafted Trubisky they bragged how he was their no. 1 qb on the boards of all chicago coaches.

Why is it so hard to believe Waddle is their target? Because they did not take your guy?

One site graded Chase out at 94 and Waddle at 93, I think Grier was comfortable with either. He knew it was 50-50 the Bengals took Chase when they traded that 3rd.

I will pass on Peter Schrager. This is the guy that had our team picking Slater with the #6. He only backtracked when he got serious backlash on social media.

Exactly.

Let's just have Waddle due a 40 dash in his underwear, catch passes in his underwear and jump as high as he can with no defenders, in his underwear,

Maybe than people will believe it

I keep saying the obvious clue was how quickly they got their picks in.

Grier loves trading. He clearly didn't entertain much while on the clock

Easy clue they got who they were targetting

Waddle or Smith were obviously the actual target in this draft after the trade down. I thought it was Smith but Im more than happy with Waddle. The player they just picked at #6 was the player all along and I dont need the GM to tell me that.

You really want to watch him dance around in his underwear, huh?
