Which ones did you dislike the most?
Yatil Green, Im sure made everyone crazy. :yell:

Which ones did you think were the best?

Skipping Randy Moss in 98 for John Avery. I knew at the time that one would be a bad move. One of very few JJ missed on.

Webb,McDuffie,Bowens,Gardener (short time we had him) only good ones imo

yatil just couldn't stay healthy.. i don't think he was a bad player...

i like timbo and vincent and dislike jj and fletcher.

I didn't know we drafted Troy Vincent. Anyway, my favourite was Tim Bowens and my least favourite was John Avery (now playing with the Toronto Argos in the CFL).

No it doesn't! :D :cooldude:

JJ missed on almost all of his 1st rounders,...I know where Wanny got it from.

Like
RICHMOND WEBB OT TEXAS A&M (One of the best players in the team's history. Should be inducted into the Ring of Honor)

TROY VINCENT DB WISCONSIN (Too bad we could not have kept him, but it didn't turn out too bad)

O.J. MCDUFFIE WR PENN STATE (Another Dolphin great. Probably should not be in the Ring of Honor, but was still good none the less)

TIM BOWENS DT MISSISSIPPI (Was the surprise NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1994. Should be in the Ring of Honor when all is said and done)

DARYL GARDENER DT BAYLOR (Great player for JJ. If he wasn't a headcase, or if he didn't have back problems, he could've been one of the all-time greats)

Indifferent
VERNON CAREY OG MIAMI (FLA.) (jury is still out, but didn't want him. If we couldn't get Andrews I wanted Wilfork or a WR)

MARCO COLEMAN LB GEORGIA TECH (was alright, but could have been better)

YATIL GREEN WR MIAMI (FLA.) (would have been great had he not had so many injuries)

RANDAL HILL WR MIAMI (FLA.) (don't know him)

Hate With a Passion
JAMAR FLETCHER CB WISCONSIN (Not because Fletcher wasn't that good for us, but because we did not need him, and the whole 2nd round of the draft had better players than him)

BILLY MILNER OT HOUSTON (He was here 2 years...)

JOHN AVERY RB MISSISSIPPI (Randy Moss)

Looking at this list I would say he missed on all three of his 1st rounders. Green, Avery and Gardner. Although there could be some argument on Gardner. I guess it was in the later rounds JJ made a name for himself.

Zack and JT...JJ got lucky ...JJ sucked. (forgot about Pat and Sam)
JJ's misses far outway his hits...Plus he was crap as a coach,He was
Wanny with a name.

Now youre talking crazy. You just named four possible hall of famers (maybe not sam) and your are not even looking at what he drafted as a Cowboy. I know that doesnt mean much to dolfans but he could draft a team. He put our defense on the map for many years. It is just too bad he couldnt pull our offense together.

At Dallas the amount of picks he had it was hard to go wrong. He did make some
great picks but some bad ones too.He picks Troy Aikman(no brainer)then throws
away a 1st on Steve Walsh.explain that. The Emmitt pick was the best.
I love JT,Zack ,Sam and Pat,but its doubtful they make the HOF.
JJ started the decline of Miami that resulted in the bottom, last year 4-12.
Heres to a new beginning,I'm so happy all that Cowboy garbage is gone.

4-12 was all Wanny. If you look at his track record he has went to a winning team and it has gradually got worse until they hit the celler. Look at the Bears history when he was there. It is a mirror image of the Dolphins while he was here. He is bad news. I feel sorry for the Pitt program. They cant get much worse.
