Assuming he takes a paycut to no more then 1 mil a year.

Hope not....not really sure how I feel towards Ricky...Not sure actually if we can afford all that. Ricky may have to take a pay cut

I don't think Law is worth screwing ourselves in the cap, considering this is technically a "rebuilding" year.
 
We're $7 million under the CAP right now because we havne't sign our rookies. That will cost about $4.5 million and when it's all said and done we'll have only $2.5 million left to sign... Traylor and Ricky. Hopefully Traylor will come cheap and "IF" Ricky comes back and we sign him, it would have to be to a deal close to the VET MIN which is around $540K I believe... Anyway I think we have just enough to sign Traylor and Ricky if we're going to pick them up. Also releasing David Bowens, would get us around $2 million perhaps. The point is... there's no way that we'll be able to afford Ty Law unless it's for a ridiculous cheap amount, and knowing the way Ty Law negotiates... I don't see any way of that happening.
 
First priority-draft picks. Second priority-DT,Traylor. Third priority, Ty Law. Last priority,if you can call it that...sign a luxury back, a second back, a pot smoking and possibly unreliable back. With that said, I love ricky and think that when 100%, he is pure dynamite...but only for league minimum plus incentives, an apology to his teammates, a public apology to the fans, and a full training camp under the sweltering Miami sun in full pads without even a peep of discontent!!!
 
I've been saying traylor was a priority.. Another one is to resign mcmichael. law isn't needed. The rookies go without saying. Dbow and tbow should be gone. maybe someone will give up a pick for dbow. /shrug
 
I don't want Ricky back, Travis Minor weighs more then him right now
 
Just because for once we are in good cap shape doesn't mean we overspend for an injured, overrated player we don't need.

We are 7 million under the cap, we got a 6 million rookie allotment. We need to sign our Rookies first.... you know that guy we picked #2 overall, Ronnie Brown. he isnt going to be cheap..... Once we sign all our rookies, we might have room to sign Traylor and thats it.

Then, if we need someone else, we need to make cap cuts.... David Bowens at 2.2 mil, John StClair at 1.2 million etc will be salary cap moves if we need help elsewhere.
