Dolphins 80 Man Training Camp Roster

There are 80 players on the roster that will report to the facility for training camp this weekend. There are two important dates where the roster is forced to be cut down.

The first roster cutdown is August 26 (before week 4 of the pre-season) where 5 players need to be cut and the roster must be shaved down to 75.

The 2nd and final roster cutdown is August 30th (after week 4 of the pre-season) and that's the big cut down. We must go from 75 down to 53, 22 players are to be cut on or before this day.

() - The numbers next to the position are how many there will be on the final roster, and how many are currently on the roster. For example, there are 8 linebackers that will make the final roster but 13 in camp now.

Red = Rookie
Orange = New vet FA or player we didn't have last year
 
Actually, as of this exact moment, only 79 players are scheduled to report to camp. Once Merling and Henne sign, there will be 81 players on the roster and one will have to be released *cough* Halterman *cough*

Also the number of spots that will be filled are not 100% etched in stone. You mention 5 WRs, but who knows, maybe Sparano will keep 6.
 
Not to correct you, but the first number (final roster) only adds upto 52, I could be wrong, but check my math twice:).

Beat me to it. I don't see anywhere that he was cut already, and he is still listed on the official site.

Since there is one cut that needs to be made once Henne and Merling sign....we should have a contest to guess who it will be.

I'm gonna go with Keith Saunders....no real reason, just a guess.

As I coughed above, my prediction is Aaron Halterman.

So who do you all think is gonna be that third TE, Ryan or Peellleele(I forgot how it was spelled so I made some stuff up)
 
Your list was off, so I looked through it. No Rob Ninkovich on there. As well as Dan Carpenter, which was previously stated.

We were at 80, with two picks unsigned, until we traded Taylor. The team isn't going to bother signing someone else for a few days, and one more will go once Merling and Henne sign.

Pac I think your pretty close on this one, other than picking up strays from other teams, our receivers I think are in the most danger with that.
I also think that Dotson may make the big squad, he plays really well and has the size. My surprise cut is he overtakes Roth with a great camp. I don't think they will be able to sneak him on the PS. Peple will hear how he's playing.
