:dolphins: Famous handicapper Teddy Covers has released a series of blogs detailing some "bet on " teams for '06 that didn't make the playoffs last year. The Dolphins are one of those teams! You can read the entries here...

That's a nice read but I'm not exactly sure I would categorize us as a 'sleeper' pick. I believe expectations are raised around the league. It will be hard for Miami to sneak up on anybody this year. Especially if Daunta is ready to go right away, which I still doubt.

:dolphins: I don't agree with the "sleeper" tag either, but then again, I don't agree with that tag for his Cardinals blog either. What I do agree with is the analysis, especially from a betting standpoint. Definate value there. Hope you guys liked it!

If Saban was really confident that Culpepper would be ready by the first week of the season, he wouldn't be pursuing Harrington but would wait until Detroit cut him.

The dolphins may gbe a good pick but who in their right mind would trust a guy who looks like this:lol: :

if you really wanna know why we are trying to get harrington its because after culpepper we have cleo lemon as our 2nd qb and hes a young inexperienced qb and even though a lot of us believe that he has talent and potential its still a risky move having his as your second string qb with your starting qb comming back from an injury, harrington is our safety net and our insurance and i think its a very very good pick up for the dolphins once we get him

I just heard on ESPN that a Dolphins Insider says that Culpepper is ready to go for Training camp. I don't think there is much to worry about.

We would pursue Harrington or another vet regardless of whether DC is ready week 1. At this point Cleo Lemon is the only other QB on the roster.

don't forget about Justin Holland, the Rookie Free Agent out of Colorado State we signed, he's also on our roster as of right now
