Dolphins a high revenue team or a low?? I am curious because of the labor dispute between and high and low revenue clubs.

Thats what I thought. I wonder how Wayne will vote.

According to the guys on Sirius NFL talk, the Dolphins are one of the top 10 revenue generating teams.

I think we're in the middle road.
We're not as good as the Packers or the Patsies but we're not as bad as the Cardinals or the Texans.

I'm not sure though.

it's kind of surprising considering the amount of transplants in the South FL area. I mean they don't sell out every game which is a disgrace IMO.

Well it's not because they sell out seats, every time I look at a game in miami the seats aren't full..I'm pissed because you can't get into a redskins game. And the tickets in Miami are a lot cheaper than they are here. so if miami's one of the high end, they must be doing it with smoke and mirrors, because it isn't the fan base in Miami.

Good Point.. I think you may see a difference this year...

People were asking this in a thread a while ago and I believe that we are high-middle. There was a link to an article about it. I'd say if the CBA doesnt get done, wayne and co. would be have the 10th most money to spend.

There's alot more pieces to the pie than just the actual number of bodies that show up on Sundays. Suites, merchandising, corporate naming of stadiums, local t.v. and radio deals.

Tickets really don't have a lot to do with it. A lot of Miami's revenue I think comes from ownership of the stadium and a lot of the other Dolphin corporate stuff they've set up in the past few years.

I think with WH any accounting numbers must be taken with a grain of salt. He notoriously inflated losses when he owned the Marlins, and because he owns the stadium and the football team it's easy to push revenue off on one or the other. I would guess we are solidly in the top 10, but Huizenga likely hides some of that revenue so he doesn't have to share it.

And you think he is the only one to do it?
