Dolphins add defensive tackle Derrick Jones to practice squad

DAVIE - The Miami Dolphins have added a new defensive tackle to the roster.

Derrick Jones was added to the team's practice squad on Wednesday, and will serve as a backup to nose tackle Jason Ferguson, the starter, and Paul Soliai, his backup.

The Dolphins have released inside linebacker K.C. Asiodu from the team's eight-member practice squad to make room for Jones, who is joining his sixth NFL team in three seasons.
