Dolphins | Allen's agent willing to discuss six-year contractFri, 4 Aug 2006 Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins FS Jason Allen's agent, Mitch Frankel, said Friday, Aug. 4, he is now willing to negotiate a six-year contract for Allen. Frankel added the team still has not tendered an acceptable offer to Allen. Frankel said he softened his stance because the team &quot;expressed this was very, very important to them even though six years is not something we'd prefer. We're trying to work something out as long as it's fair to both sides.</p>
