The World's 50 Most Valuable Sports Teams 2014

http://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbad...he-worlds-50-most-valuable-sports-teams-2014/

The Miami Dolphins may have had a few rough seasons, but they’re still playing among the world’s elite when it comes to how valuable the franchise is.
Miami is No. 29 on Forbes‘ 50 Most Valuable Sports Teams for 2014. Valued at $1.074 billion, the team finished between last February’s Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks ($1.081 billion) and the state’s other entrant in the top 50, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($1.067 billion).
Unsurprisingly, the list is dominated by NFL franchises. Of the league’s 32 teams, 28 are represented, led by the Dallas Cowboys at No. 5. Major League Baseball and world soccer teams are tied at eight each, while the NBA has four teams and the NHL and auto racing have one each.
The Miami Heat is not one of the NBA’s four teams represented — the New York Knicks (No. 13, $1.4 billion), Los Angeles Lakers (No. 15, $1.35 billion), Chicago Bulls (No. 37, $1 billion), and Boston Celtics (No. 45, $875 million) are on the list. According to a valuation by Forbes in January, the Heat was valued at $770 million, good for No. 7 in the NBA. (Of course, that was prior to LeBron James’ move back to Cleveland.)

I am sure the Heat had more value than Celts. Well maybe not now that Lerbon left lol.

Should we take up a collection to buy it from Ross, and have the public own them Green Bay Packer style? I've got a couple hundred bucks to put into it.
