I can't sleep, got lots on my mind including the Dolphins so I thought I'd write a list of teams that we are better than.
I'm not gonna give any reasons at this time but if you disagree I will try to get back to you in the morning.

Jets
Colts
Jaguars
Texans
Titans
Browns
Ravens
Chargers
Chiefs
Lions
Bears
Redskins
Bucs
Saints
49ers

Hey what do you know, I've ranked us 16th best in the league. Middle of the pack, 8-8 here we come!

There's definitely teams on that list who would beat Miami. Jax already did. Jets already did. Saints would. Chiefs would. Colts would. Chargers would. Ravens probably would.

Well we have already lost to two of the teams on that list. I think we can beat anyone with an average to below average D-line and we will lose to anyone with an above average D-line.

Were not better than the jets (anyone that thinks so is definitely being a homer), we're not better than the Colts, Jags, Ravens, Chiefs (with Charles that is), Bears, Saints.

Fins are better than the Redskins, Texans, and Titans. I'm just rooting for a high draft pick at this point.

They aren't better than the Jets or Jaguars. It's undetermined who they're better than if they haven't played those other teams.

a lot of fans here are delusional. I love the Phins more than a lot of you, but the team isn't good. We think we have good players in place, but as a whole, between scheme, coaching, wrong personnel based on scheme, and overall busts and bad players, we are who we are. We won't go on an 8 game win streak and make the playoffs. The truth is more than likely, this will be another 2-3 years, just because of the glaring holes this team has. Miami would have had a better shot if they had spent less on two players and more on positions of need. Tannenbaum gambled and lost - paid Tannehill based on upside and not what he did in he past. He rewarded a mediocre qb. He also was lazy, and thought Suh was a fix all, when in fact the interior of the line wasn't the issue, it was better ends to set the edge and better inside linebackers. If you want a third miss, it was drafting Parker after re-doing your WR's and not addressing the secondary. So we then draft Phillips, after signing Suh. lol. And when you look at the entire draft, Ajayi is the only one trying to make an impact. The ENTIRE draft made no impact. Now look at 2014, Jarvis is the only one impacting. James is hurt and Fede is and will aways be a 7th round pick for a reason. Again, basically 0 production from that draft. Finally 2013's picks only have netted Jenkins. Jury is out on him. Jordan sucks, Thomas sucks and they traded Taylor.

So you want to know why the Phins are 3-5, it's because they don't have talent. 3 entire draft classes have netted a few players. Coupled with over-spending on free agents, of which Wallace isn't even here and Albert is always hurt, and there you have it

Another 2-3 years? That would be one heck of a turnaround considering it's already taken more than a decade and it's still not fixed. And with Tannenbaum in charge we're not turning this thing around any time soon. We are now the Cleveland Browns of the AFC East...doomed to being bottom dwellers for a long time because the front office in place will never get it right.

They have pieces though. This isn't an expansion team. How many pieces, I don't know but we won't know anything until they purge salaries and trade some players to acquire additional picks. The philosophy has to change, where FA is used to sprinkle players around, and not be a fix-all for bad drafts. Imagine, the last three drafts have yielded just Landry. What about the two prior? Tannehill, Lamar and Vernon. Is Vernon who we thought he would be this year with Suh? Is Tannehill the franchise qb? What about Miller's durability? 2011? Pouncey and we lost Clay.

What the hell is this owner thinking? Does he realize that since 2011 his team is not drafting well? Both the talent evaluator and talent is seriously lacking. This game is played on the field, and if you have mediocre on the field, you have mediocre in W's and L's. Should have drafted Matt Ryan.

Those are about the only teams I think we could beat on that list. And I would add the 49ers.

we could beat TN again with a healthy Mariotta? Blaine Gabbert is playing better and so is Cousins. Washington beat us as far as I am concerned anyway. and after the second half of the Texans game, I wouldn't be so sure.

I wanted Joe Flacco that year but it's long gone and people, like yourself, can't seem to let it go.

Regardless there aren't many pieces on this team and by the time will fill in the pieces we need the current pieces we have will have gotten a lot older and no longer be as effective as they are now...like Cam Wake and Brent Grimes.

Like I said the guy in charge of acquiring talent won't be turning this franchise around anytime soon. I would rather be an expansion team right now. At least then I'd know we're going to suck without hoping this is the year we make the playoffs and being disappointed yet again. Year after year it's the same thing...although some years I knew we had no chance of making the playoffs.
