This is an email I received from the Miami Dolphins...I replied back with my opinion and advise you all do too....

Now that we have undertaken our head coaching search, we want you to know that Wayne Huizenga and all of us at the Miami Dolphins organization are committed to finding the best possible individual for this special franchise. Now more than ever, Mr. Huizenga is determined to do whatever is necessary to ensure your Miami Dolphins win consistently and be the elite team in the NFL.

We have identified a number of coaches we think are excellent prospects and are in the process of interviewing them now. You will no doubt hear a great deal about our progress in the coming days and, since we are all in this together, we are open to your ideas and comments. Please feel free to send us your thoughts to ideas@dolphins.nfl.com. In addition, we also invite you to listen to the Dolphins Show weeknights at 790 The Ticket from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for all Dolphin news and events. The show is also available through MiamiDolphins.com.

We thank you for your past and future support. We are optimistic about our future and the 2007 season.

Man, they are really reaching out to the public. They know how beaten down phin fans are right now. Kudos to them.

its kinda weird but i like it....get us all together in on this instead of a dictatorship

I personally think it is embarassing. NOT a good sign at all for our leadership..
 
Yeah, I don't particularly like it either. They are supposedly the experts, and we're just "ordinary Joes". I think it shows that maybe they don't know what they doing and that they're pretty desperate.
 
I think it's very cool to address the fans..i don't think wayne will be using our votes to pick a hc..but it's a way to let us know that our support is important..wh really is a class act

Please. Do you really think they'll use any of the suggestions? Of course not. They are just letting the fans know that they are important, nothing wrong with that.

:yes:...I'm gonna ask for BOOlarkey to be fired and Wayne to give me half of his money....Let's make it happen!!!!!
 
I think I'll write and ask for a job... a football team is still a company in a sense, so presumably they need IT people, right? Hmm... I dunno what the 'Phins will do with a top-flight software engineer, but hey... can't hurt to ask. LOL...
 
who did you all suggest be the new head coach? I suggested Ron Rivera and than Chan Gailey as the new OC
