Now, before I get into what I am going to say, I am NOT claiming we are the best team in the division. However, based on the sample size of 4 games that each team of the division has... If you compared each team's BEST game so far, in terms of how well they've looked... Dolphins, IMO, have looked the best when playing at their best. The Jets haven't really had any impressive games, The Bills looked most impressive when they beat us, and the Patriots? Minnesota self destructed when they played them. The Pats haven't looked that good at all. Only 4 games have been played thus far, so no real conclusions can be drawn. What are some of your thoughts?

If Buffalo didn't have our number, I would say yes. For now I would say it's wide open. We need to be more consistent.

Lets see them beat the Bills first.

definitely have the most talent in the division. whether they put it all together and make a run is the question.

The arrow is pointing up for us with this offense if we can pull it together week to week. Losing is not a bad thing unless you bounce back and then put games together.

But look at how the Bills beat us....turnovers and bad special teams plays.

I don't think there's ANY "best" team in the division right now.

The AFC East is right there for the taking though. It's time to take advantage.

If we were to judge the AFCE rosters top to bottom, I think you would have to have the Dolphins and Bills at the top. Even though Tannehill is streaky and can be innacurate, I will still take him over the duo they have up in Buffalo.

The funny thing is, while the Dolphins and Bills have the most talented rosters, the Jets and the Patriots have the better coaching staffs. What will win out in the end? I still think the Patriots find a way to squeak by and take the division unfortunately. You just can't count BB and Brady, as thin on talent as that roster is right now...

The Patriots are a bad team this year, and the Raiders are probably the worst team in the NFL.
The KC team looks complete and I think they project to the playoffs. The Bills have our number and win the one on one match ups against or linemen.
This season is a toss up. We will not know until week 14 who will emerge in the final two weeks before the playoffs.
9-7 might be good enough to win this division this year.

On Monday night countdown before the game they kind of jokingly said 'if your the Patriots and you're looking at Geno, Orton and Tannehill you're kind of fine with that, right?'

And I'm sure a lot of Jets fans would disagree that "better" and "their coaching staff" should be used in the same sentence.

Let's worry about figuring out how we're going to stop Aaron Rodgers and beat the Packers.

It's a long crazy season. Lots of ups and downs. One week you are sure you are in the running and the next you feel like you are behind by a mile. Brady and BB rarely lose two in a row, but with Cincy having two weeks to prepare that will be an interesting game come sunday. I believe if the pats pull out that game vs the bengals they will win the division going away once again, but if they can't pull the upset this week, I think this is the year their wheels fall off.

I have always said I will not count the pats out til Brady looks bad several weeks in a row, well he has looked bad several weeks in a row. Tonight he looked like he really didn't care if he played any more. Looked like the fire in the eyes was a distance memory.

Consistent growth. One step at a time.

I agree with the sentiment that you can't totally count the Patriots out yet.

But there's this: they simply don't look like a good team. Their offensive line is a trainwreck, they don't have enough weapons on offense, and their defense isn't what I thought it would be. Their lousy performance in 3 of 4 games has not been a fluke, I don't think.

I guess the thing is, the Dolphins have to stop shooting themselves in the feet here. We are playing in a weak division that has been steamrolled by one team for the past decade plus, and that team finally looks like it has legitimately fallen back to earth.

We MUST take advantage.
