Dolphins break NFL Record

Yes it was real. Didn't you watch it?
No. I really haven't watched much football at all this year. My father got really sick and it kind of reset me. I'm just not that interested in it. Not as much as I used to be.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. I hope he gets better

Good News! Next week ESPN will now have an over under on missed tackles to bet on.

Don Shula said it 50 years ago. In a cold weather division, you need to be able to effectively run the football and play defense. We can do neither and the cold weather did it again.
He sure did, and then really showed his commitment to that philosophy in the Marino years with the likes of Mark Higgs, Lorenzo Hampton, Bernie Parmalee and whoever else he brought in. Not to mention keeping Tom Olivadotti as his DC forever (talk about a poor tackling defense). Even the best coach ever can muck this stuff up.

We had our chance to become the intense tough team we needed to be when we promoted Dan Campbell 9 years ago.

In his introductory press conference, he said the dolphins culture needed to change. ā€œWe need to become more aggressive.ā€ ā€œWe need to breed a culture of intensity.ā€ ā€œStarts in practice - we need these guys to go after each other.ā€ The best teams that Iā€™ve been a part of - they get after each other. It gets heated. And itā€™s intense - these are people fighting to win.ā€ If you remember, day 1 he had his guys doing the Oklahoma drill.

In his first victory speech after winning, hereā€™s what he told his guys:

1) Iā€™ll fā€™n bleed for you guys
2) We were at each others throats this week
3) You awoke the giant

Dan saw the issue 9 years ago and it still applies today. McDaniel is a great O coordinator but not a leader of men like you need to be in football. We had our chance with Dan Campbell and as usual we blew it.

Bad personnel choices

The team needs a drill Sargent not a vape shop dealer as HC.
Greer has proven that he doesn't have the goods.
Blow it up.
