Dolphins bring up Matt Hazel from Practice Squad/ Waive LB Knott

The team has signed WR Matt Hazel off the practice squad.

To make room on the roster for Hazel, the team waived LB Jake Knott.

I actually like this move. I hope Hazel gets playing time. I'm not saying he is going to be a world beater or anything, but I liked what we saw from him in pre-season and I'm curious to see if he can make the jump to this level.

Agreed. Let's see what he's got after 15 weeks of prepping. Guys like Hartline, Matthews, and Gibby aren't playing great anyway.

Had honestly never heard of this Knott guy before, had no idea he was even on the 53. What a difference from preseason when it appeared as though it would have been impossible to keep a third QB without losing a good player. Now we're carrying guys like Knott...

He was brought up from the practice squad a couple weeks ago when Jenkins and Misi went down with injuries.

Protects him late in the year in getting snapped up at least. I like his potential. It would help if he could cover a kick.
