Dolphins | Brown unlikely to play Week 15
Mon, 11 Dec 2006 17:15:09 -0800
Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown (hand) is unlikely to play in the team's Week 15 game.

Seems like Ole Ronnie is a slow healer, anyways he will be missed thats for sure.Hopefully Sammie wants to go all out against those Jills.

Happy b-day to Ronnie by the way he will be 25 today

Yeah, that chicken hasn't been cleared by team physicians to play.
All that chicken's fault, I tell you.

who said i hate him so much? go read my posts im hte biggest RB supporter on this board.

its dissapointing for me to see him not come thru during the clutch in the last 4-5 games like last year wehre he missed 2 games. next thing u konw, he is one of those backs that can't play a full season ala F. Taylor

Its more precautious than anything else, why risk our stud RB to further injury? Sammy has done an admirable job filling in, he has given us the luxury to let Ronnie heal up.

comparing him to Fred Taylor and his injuries are foolish. HE hurt his hand in a helmet, Fred's injuries involved his legs and his durability. Stupid comparison.

but he's hurt. If he could play he would, he wants to be out there more than anyone. Calling him a chicken is just plain stupid.

Why rush Brown back when there's nothing guaranteed to play for? It's gonna take a miracle to make the playoffs, and IF we do, wouldn't you rather have a 100% healthy Ronnie Brown playing then, versus a non-100% Ronnie Brown playing this week in Buffalo?

Did you ever think that it may not be up to him? He hasn't been cleared to play by the medical staff. Someone in another thread said they met him and he said he would be playing against the Pats so I doubt he has much say in it. He does have a pin in his dominant hand though, so I don't really understand why people thought he would come back so quick anyway. Sometimes guys like linemen play with casts, but if a RB can't grip a ball the right way you don't want them on the field.
