Dolphins' Channing Crowder frustrated by lack of new contract

I want him back. I was skeptical up until the Kansas City game. Have to love the praise he has for Goody and Bell. I hope we can resign them all, although it's probably unlikely.
 
anybody saw sports extra down in miami when they interviewed crowder, when he said last year we put up with cam's b.s. i thought that was funny as hell

What makes you say that? Just a hunch or did one side say something?
 
Goody, Carey, Bell and Crowder. I believe each of them will be looking for a pretty hefty pay check. I'd like to see them back next season but I just don't see it happening.
 
I think it's dicey wether or not he's back. It's not like this regime is makeing it a practice to extend people during the season, though.

First of all he has to prove himself. He's not a good 3-4 backer anyways. I'll pass on Crowder unless he comes cheap. Remember for now Dansby is a free agent at the years end. Or the draft is deep at linebackers and ZAch might come back since he's opting out of his contract in Dallas.
 
I'm not the one to say who needs a new contract and who doesn't, but I am worried that guys like Carey, Bell, Crowder, and Goodman are all going to hit FA. There's always the chance that we could pick up an improvement at all of these positions, but there's also the chance that there is nobody better who will hit the market and want to play here. I'd hate to see us play so well down the stretch only to downgrade at a lot of positions.
 
I'll be MORE Frustrated by the lack of RESPECT from LOTs of non-dolfans!

I knew someone was going to post something silly and it had to be you.


He is not a good 3-4 Linebacker? Didn't you hear the quotes from our coach in the editorials? Guy has ranked top 3 most of the season in tackles for inside linebackers. He calls our plays in defense and he has not received a contract offer yet because there are so many players heading into the free agency. The team will likely resign him back but they are not going to do it right now due to the obvious situation with other players as well.


Zack Thomas coming back to Miami?

The new regime did not wanted him because he does not fit what you want as an inside linebacker in a 3-4.

That alone should lose him his job, :sidelol:, seriously this guy says some of the stupidest things ever, but really he just doesn't fit. We will have a huge selection of LBs to choose from, whether it be through FA or the draft. He can easily be replaced, and for cheap. Shout outs to J. Brinkley and C. Barwin or Sintim, we'll be alright Channing, "WE WILL STRUGGLE ON"!

he should go after 4-3 MLB money, 3-4 ILB money for a guy with bad knees aint gonna be what he wants
