And it extends beyond Ajayi, Williams and Drake because Gase also likes Senorise Perry and Storm Johnson, both of whom ended last season on the practice squad before being re-signed to future contracts in January.

“I really love the three guys that we had at the end of the year,” Gase said at the NFL owners meetings in Phoenix. “There is a high trust level for me with that group. There is occasionally where I want to possibly hurt Drake every once in a while, but he’s my guy so (laughter) … He does so many good things but he always does one thing that will — whether it be on or off the field — that will test me every once in a while, which I kind of like.

I think it is stupid to not draft at least another RB and one more UDFA RB. I don't know what Serorise brings to the table; however, Drake is not a RB, he is a return man and a wr out of the back field at best. Damien is a jack of all trade master of none.

I'm going to break something if we spend one of our very limited draft picks on a RB.

We have a great rotation between Ajayi, Drake, and Williams (even though I am personally iffy on Williams.) We have two guys on the practice squad that the FO clearly like and see potential in. There's no reason to add more names to the mix through the draft. In free agency? Sure, go for it. Wasting a draft pick on a position that doesn't even cut the list for top 10 needs? Please god no.

There are a few options Miami could use a 7th round pick on or sign as an udfa. I Like Taquan Mizzell out of Virginia and Chris Carson from OK State if they go undrafted. As it is Miami is looking for a 4th back to provide deep depth, so they can either sign an udfa, add a league minimum free agent, wait to see who gets cut from other teams toward the end of training camp or wait and raid another team's practice squad if the need arises for a 4th back.
