Dolphins could be buyers at the deadline?

having a bye makes trading for a new guy even more inviting

we can get him coached up much more easily

yeah the timing makes sense and we have some needs...I just wonder who we might be trying to get

Miami surprised a lot of people last year, but remember that they started 1-4. This year you have a team that's 2-3, and that's a record that could be better. If they'd turned a dominant performance against the Colts into the win it should have been for one, or come out of San Diego with a win they could have had, things would be far different.

Still, with the trade deadline looming, the team could be in buyer's mode. ESPN.com's Tim Graham describes their wish list as "receiver, utility back, defensive back" and writes today, "The Dolphins need to do something about free safety Gibril Wilson. He keeps giving up big plays with late coverage, missed tackles and, on Monday night, a dumb penalty. They also could use a bit of help at cornerback to shore up the NFL's 19th-ranked pass defense. What would the Oakland Raiders take for Nnamdi Asomugha?"

That might be a tough get, but the Dolphins can at least be assured they're in the buying half of the conversation.

The article is wrong, we did not start out 1-4 last season. We were 2-3 just like this season. Though we did lose our 6th game of the year and fell to 2-4.

Dolphins OLB Matt Roth says he is fully recovered from the groin injury that landed him on the reserve/non-football injury list to start 2009.
The NFI list has the same rules as PUP. Roth is eligible to return in Week 8, but may not have a role with Jason Taylor entrenched at his LOLB spot. There have been some whispers that Roth might be on the trade block.

and yet another indication that Roth might be getting traded. This bye week could actually end up being very interesting

and all of a sudden, roth also says that he's healthy and eager to play to the media... mmmmmmm...

curious, isn't it ?

roth cannot be traded, there is no possible way whether we want to or not from my understanding, He has to wait till the Saints Game to be considered off the Pup list freeing him up to be traded.. the thing is, the deadline is before then. idk i may be completly off, can someone confirm?
