Was reading the sun sentinel and the guy said"don't be surprised if the dolphins go after Williams" ....what does anyone thinks of him?

Yeah i really like this pickup. Jacksonville had always had a good O line and a very good running game. Im not sure if can play guard but if he can then this may make our line dominate. With the signing Smiley and Satele and Carey along with this guy and JAKE LONG maybe this line with the coaching of Soprano could be awesome Beck or whoever is under center could have all day to throw and Ronnie and whoever else is back there will have huge holes and could be on the second level before they even get touched.

Mo Williams started under Mike Maser at Jax and was all-rookie. He started 10 games at guard this year for the Jags so, at a minimum, he'd be great to add depth at RT and RG.

He's awfully involved in the Jax community, however, both in business and charity. Of course, it's only 350 miles down I-95...

Given that he lost his starting tackle job last year and was moved to guard, his price ought to be reasonable. He ended up getting a bonus last year for having outperformed his contract which paid him only about $425,000 last year (something like that).

Phins should be able to get him for about $1.5m-$2.5m a year for a 2-3 yr deal.
