Dr. David Chao, the former Chargers team physician-turned-social media doctor who has turned diagnosing injuries based on video footage into a cottage industry, has a highly educated guess:

“Tannehill appears to strain his rotator cuff or stretch his capsule as him arm is stopped from going forward,” Chao wrote Monday on the The San Diego Union-Tribune’s website. “It is unlikely that he suffered structural damage in the form of a complete tear, but it is a soreness and effectiveness issue — and I can’t rule out a partial tear.”

LOL well he didn't exactly rule out a complete tear either....just that it was unlikely. Not exactly a solid prognosis IMO.

Here’s the part of the twilight zone where the medical staff looks at his shoulder and says he only has a 25% chance of playing again. He leaves the Phins and go starts for another team winning them a Super Bowl a few years later.

God could you imagine? This place would implode.

This is the guy that projected correctly his knee injury a couple years ago off the video. And I think his training camp injury too last year.

Gulp.

yeah man....ummm...im gonna sleep just fine tonight over the thought of that.

Had a partial tear in the knee once

for all the non medical idiots on here dumping on the "remote diagnosis", mechanism of injury is pretty big factor in how an injury is treated or diagnosed.
