Just out of curuiosity, what do these camp fodder players get paid? How much per week? Couple of K? I dunno. Anyone knoe?

I have no idea but I heard an interview with Mike Shanahan saying he offered Tony Romo 20,000$ to come to camp with him but he took 10,000$ from the Cowboys because he thought he had a better chance to make the roster.

Also, why does everyone think these guys are future Wendy's workers? They have college degrees.

You have to be at least 3 years removed from High-school to be eligible. Most of these guys either have a 4 year college degree in something, or atleast close to it. No sarcasm.

Please enlighten me as to why it is sarcastic to say these athletes can amount to anything other than fast-food employees outside of football.

Average signing bonus for an undrafted rookie is $3000 (I think Pat Devlin got the max which is $25,000) and during training camp they get $900 per week. During training camp they stay in a hotel and eat with the team so room and board is free as long as they're with the team. If they make the team they get paid pretty well. Last year the league minimum for an undrafted rookie free agent was $325,000.

Also the guys who make the practice squad make around $80,000 salary.
