Since 2010, the Patriots have rolled up 41, 38, 38, 27, 23, 28, 27 and 20 points in these eight divisional meetings with Miami, and have not turned the ball over more than once in any of those contests.

Just saw this little stat piece on fantasy football sites. Kinda hit me by surprise.

Our defense has been one of the worst in the NFL in creating turnovers for a while now. Really hope that can change this year.

Sometimes, one is all you need!

In all seriousness though, ouch. Turnover ratio certainly needs much improvement in order to increase our win total and secure a playoff spot.

some of those #s include pts allowed by O/STs.

actual pts allowed by your D:

the 2010 games your STs and O allowed 28 of those points so still not great but not nearly as bad.

NE has a great offense, they have gouged our D too and other top Ds.

control the football. best defense there is.

as far as TOs:

since 2010 vs. NE:

Miami has turned it over 16 times
NE has turned it over 5 times

5 times in 8 games isn't bad against NE. in the same span NE has turned it over 7 times against us. NE protects the football, it's one of the reasons they are so good.
