Dolphins Do "Extensive Work" Scouting Terrell Pryor

I fail to see the logic that because we've spent $10 on ten separate pieces of relative dog **** that we should spend our next dollar on cat ****. **** is still ****.

The goal should be to use our late round draft picks better (though to be fair, late round picks are late round picks for a reason). A good way to start this process would be to not waste a pick on the likes of Terrelle Pryor.

My logic is Terrelle Pryor from a talent standpoint is worth much more than what his price will be. For analogy purposes here you go, The reason he is not going to get a high draft pick is not because his ceiling is too low it's because his floor is not solid. Most late round picks dont have a solid floor or a high ceiling. You're not drafting for starters in the late rounds so why not try a project with the talent to be successful and there's not much lost if it doesnt work.

I might give a 4th if he came in for a work out and blew them away but if you can get a kid like him in the 5th that would be amazing

the kid is a freak of an athlete

you could work him at the 3rd spot so he can develop for a year or two and if he dont work out turn him to a wr/te

lets be honest name the last 5th rounder that has contributed at a high level

Pryor has a stupid amount of talent very much worth a 4th/5th

I'll go one better. T BRADY was drafted in the 6th. So was J UNITAS, incidentally.

What PRIOR seems to be lacking most is a clue.

How does that saying go? Oh yeah..."when you resort to using anomalies to prove a point it means you lost the argument."

I meant our 5th rounder lol

cause I know some other teams have sound some stars in the later rounds but we haven't

Im not trying to talk smack about our front office cause to be honest I like how we have drafted in recent years

but I think 4th-7th round you are pretty much hoping to get a a decent player that might contribute instead of a player that will start right away

Terrell Pryor fits that mold exactly we are going to loose Thigpen this off-season and I am more than positive we will be going after a Vet to compete with Henne

Who's going to be our 3rd

if all I have to give up for Pryor is a 5th im fine with it even 4th if I could be honest

Yeremiah Bell was a sixth rounder.

Extensive work to find out everyone of us already knew, he sucks. Terrible quarterback. Too dumb. too much of an *** and too little work ethic to be relied upon to make a successful switch to WR.

Good ish...I'm glad our front office is at least exploring the option rather than taking the route of most of these clueless fans and just shutting down the idea. Bring him in with a late pick and have him battle it out in camp. If he works out to be a superstar, sign him, if not cut him. No harm done. This team can't afford to leave any rock unturned.

Lmfao. Look at Gil ****ing Brandt over here.

Pryor sucks. Seen him live for 3 years and he's horrible. He makes at least one "wtf was that pass" a game. Even when OSU blew out teams like Marshall and Youngstown State, he still manages to throw dumb ints

If you can transplant Pat Devlin's head onto Pryor's body, you might have one helluva prospect

Just throw all out pics to get him. Like the people in the supplemental draft are amazing (with thhe exception of this year).

I'm a huge Pryor hater as a Michigan fan, and do feel he's dumb and has a huge ego, but he actually does have a decent work ethic. This is a kid that was criticized in college because he wanted to try and become a pro prospect at QB rather than just being an athlete. I can find a million things to knock Pryor on, but for the longest time he tried to help OSU by being a QB first and an athlete second.

I also wouldn't say he's like Pat White cause, if nothing else, Pryor has good size and can take a beating. White was just too small for the NFL. Yeah I know there are guys smaller than him, but guys like MJD, Darren Sproles, and even Reggie Bush look like football players when in pads. White looked like his pads and helmet were too big for him.

Now don't take this as me wanting Pryor, I don't. In fact, I hate the fact that you guys have me defending him.

Being an OSU fan and watching Pryor every week drove me nuts. He would make 1 amazing play then the next play was WTF. He did strive to make himself a better QB. I just think he did need another year in college to develop more and I still don't think he is an NFL QB. He is an athlete though and were able to pick him up late he may be a diamond in the very rough. Even though Henne is from UM i have supported him from the start. I am still hoping he can turn into a solid QB for the Dolphins. He needs a good start and build some confidence. GO PHINS
