Dolphins don't miss Saban
BY BARRY JACKSON

With his history coaching defensive backs, Nick Saban scrutinized, pushed and prodded the Dolphins' cornerbacks and safeties with regularity. So do they miss the attention? Hardly.

In fact, several defensive backs at last weekend's minicamp admitted how much better -- and calmer -- working conditions are without him. Even cornerback Travis Daniels, who played for Saban at LSU and the Dolphins, called it a ''good'' change.

''It's easier to work without the tension,'' cornerback Andre' Goodman said. ``After a while, the atmosphere is bad and people are beating on you. You like to feel like everybody is at ease, and it didn't feel that way at all times last year. I knew I was prepared every Sunday because of the way [Saban] prepared us, but this makes business a whole lot more fun.''

nick saban with out a doubt was a great coach... he just didnt have the heart for the nfl game... he gave us all hope.... i hope he does better at alabama

He's a great college coach and a terrible NFL coach, let's leave it at that. And I for one hope he never wins a game at Alabama. If he had just handled the situation like a man, I would have no problem with him.

Who cares about Satan....I'll be happy if I never hear his name ever again. I hope he rots in hell at Alabama.

he did great in the pros as a coach.. defensive coordinator for the browns when they had the best defense in the league... most coaches did get it rolling until the 3rd year anyways... we will never know if he would have been a great NFL coach, i know he can coach though

Then dude I suggest you take the Satan loving elsewhere, not many around here think he did such a great job.

look im stating the obvious. im happy that he's gone too.. i just think while he was here he did what his forte was... he made our defense great! now cameron will take us another level on offense.. we our gonna be fun to watch on both sides of the ball now.. because of sabans coaching, and hopefully camerons coaching

Agree completely once again Travis. And thats all I will say on the Saban matter before I get raged.

Saban was a pompous ***....I am glad he is gone....he was just as bad as Wanny. Hope he enjoys all the hate he is going to get as soon as Bama losses, which should be soon and often.
