Seeing that the two teams will practice against each other prior to Thursday's game, I'm sure other people will mentioned it this week, Eagle guard Dallas Thomas hasn't looked nearly as bad as he did in Miami. He's playing in a back up role currently. I always find it interesting that some players look completely different in new surroundings with different schemes and coaching staffs.
 
The reason Dallas Thomas stuck around as long as he did is that he's a great athlete and, I'm pretty sure, a very good practice player. I'd say he had his scheme down completely here and his technique was very sound.

His issue is that he completely lacks the alpha dog mentality to win his matchup when the live rounds are flying. He just withers.

So it doesn't surprise me that he looks good in preseason. He did here too.

Kind of the opposite of Turner, who had the dog in him but couldn't string 2 good reps together.
 
I am just hoping we can stay healthy through these practices and the game and get some decent work in.
 


Im thinking this is all hands on deck week and then pull back.
