Dolphins Expected to Target Kris Dielman

Quinn on Terry Shea:

"Maybe we'll have a chance to work again together in the future," Quinn said. "It's a solid relationship, I think."

Awesome, awesome stuff. Dielman would be an absolute staple on our oline and would make me so much more confident heading into the 2007 season. The left side of our line is so bad and he is an instant upgrade. As for cutting McKinney and Anderson, good. Anderson was awful in the games he played and I never really thought much of McKinney to begin with.

Where you been DD, I see a lot of your posting on here recently, but it seemed like you were gone forever. If I recall correctly, we wern't spoiled with the weekly WOOOOOOOOOO threads for the 2nd half of the season.

Now thats a word i like.....TARGET

Anyone know the specifics of Jeno's money...how much he cost us for the next 3 and how much would he cost if we cut him

only thing deilman scares me is will he continue his great work after a big contrcat or was it a one hit wonder due to a contract year for him? reason i say this is b/c he was kind of under the radar guy before LT broke out. anyone have info on this wiht a lot of knowledge to warrant the answer? Thanks

I tend to feel more comfortable with steinbach but see more upside with Dielman.

according to that, we can make about 9 mill in cap space...is taht correct?

lets say from 6.5 to 3.5 for carter, and the 4 from seth and the 2 from bennie, thats about 9 mill. is that how it works? if so, bring on Donte!

Carter has said he will take a restructure only if the money turns into bonus that is guaranteed. Usually when you restructure or waive someone you still get hit for about 40-50% of the number for a year. It's different for every situation. If the players aren't contributing or getter better quick, its better to replace them with a young player who will improve and makes a lot less. That's the was New England, San Diego and others have gotten better.
