As you know if you wanted tickets to the game then you had to register on NFLUK.com . When you register on the site you have to state what team you support. I have been registered as a Miami fan on the site for many months. When the game was announced many fans (of other teams) registered for the ticket lottery.

The result of this is that fans of other teams have been offered tickets. I friend of mine is a Jets fan and he has tickets, how can that be right?!!

What the league should have done is given priority to Dolphins and Giants fans who were already registered with NFLUK.com prior to the game being announced.

The league may argue that they are trying to find `new` fans. However, in my opinion the game has not been well advertised here in the UK and the only people who have bought tickets are already NFL fans.

If the game had been between, for example the Redskins and Bills, then I would have been happy for their pre-registered fans on NFLUK.com to have priority.

I have been to the States twice to watch my beloved Miami play at great expense. I was in Houston last year to watch a terrible performance. What annoys me is that my team is playing 60 miles from me and I can`t get a ticket!! :boohoo:

The result of this ticketing policy is that, IMO, there will be a mixed atmosphere at the game as there will be many UK fans of other teams in attendance.

PRE REGISTERED FANS OF THE DOLPHINS AND GIANTS SHOULD HAVE GOT PRIORITY!! THE LEAGUE HAS GOT IT WRONG.

What do you think?

There are loads of people on there who follow other teams and have got tickets, just look on the forum.

There should of been say 20,000 seats set aside for UK Dolphins fans in the lottery.

Saying that though, the majority will be wanting Miami to win though.

Sorry you didn't get a ticket mate, there is another batch going on sale on June 28th I think. If not, there are always touts, if you have the cash to go to the States to watch the Dolphins, surely you could afford one from a tout?

The same could have held through for giving season ticket holders of NFL Europe priority which they didn't get.

Also if they simply gave priority to people being smart enough to register as 'fan' (note the quotes) then that system would have been wide open for abuse.

In the end they opted to give the Giants and Dolphins season ticket holders guaranteed seating and all others through a lottery i.e. sheer luck.

IMHO this scheme has been fair, then again I've been lucky enough to get selected to order and got myself upper ring 50 yards seating.

Bottomline, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get any tickets but with 500.000 people pre-registering to get tickets you knew your chances were slim to start with.

You could have upped your chances by having everyone in your group that wanted to attend submit their interest with at pre-registration website, then again we didn't do that either and got in.

I agree with almost all that you said.

I know that the US season ticket holders have been offered tickets, and rightly so. I just think that pre registered fans of the Dolphins and Giants should have got priority.

Of the 500,000 people who registered for the game, I`d be interested to know how many were registered prior to the game being announced?? I wouldn`t mind betting that it was at least half that amount, maybe more?

I didn't get tickets either despite being registered for about a year - maybe there was a "glitch" in the system that only chose the people who ticked the highest price on the "How much would you expect to pay for this ticket" box! (thats my conspiracy theory!!)

I'm just hoping of a few ticket giveaway events on the radio nearer the time, though judging by the response they're getting doesn't fill me with much hope! :boohoo:

I also agree that the game hasn't been advertised well over here - apparenlty JT & Coach Cameron were here this week -I wouldn't have said so as I haven't seen anything in the papers or on TV:rolleyes:

The thing is though, how could people prove who they supported? If there were just 2 options people would just tick one of those, no matter who they supported.

They did interviews with all the major papers the other day and their interviews were on heavy rotation on Sky Sports News.

Your`re missing my point. If you registered with NFLUK.com before the game was annouced then you had to state which of the 32 teams you supported. A genuine Miami fan would tick the `Miami` box and a Jets fan would tick the `Jets` box. After the game was announced then fans of other teams may have ticked the `Miami` or `Giants` box. My point is that fans who registered before the game was announced (genuine Miami and Giants fans) should have got priority

There's gotta be a way a hardcore Dolphins fan like you can get your hands on some tickets. Unfortunately, it might come down to how much you're willing to pay. That's how it is with a lot of NFL games over here. This London game sounds like it's going to be a big hit over there, so you might have check out eBay or ticket brokers.

Thanks mate. Beleive me, by hook or by crook, I will get tickets. It`s just that other genuine Dolphin fans in the UK will miss out.

IMO tickets should have been sold as follows;

1 - Pre registered (UK resident) NFLUK.com Dolphins/Giants fans and Miami season ticket holders

2 - Pre-registered (Europe resident) NFLUK.com Dolphins/Giants fans

3 - Giants season ticket holders

4 - Fans who registered with NFLUK.com after the game was announced

They could have allocated a set number of tickets for the above categories and sold the game out.

Speaking of radio, Cam and JT were on TalkSport radio. The video is on www.miamidolphins.com

How much is a 2 week holiday in the USA, 4 star hotel for 4 people, all expenses paid, attending 2 NFL games with 4 50 yard 1st ring seats? :D

Lol, lol, I like you!! What gives with the four star hotel though? I would have thought you`d be pushing for a five star hotel?!! :sidelol:

By the way, I was guessing that you had two tickets. Four is just greedy!! I think you should sell two tickets, face value (out of the goodness of your heart) to a fellow Miami fan! What do you say? :tantrum:
