Anyone else think its too old fashioned now. and kinda camp. :err:

Anyone know of any other beefed up song that could be used?? or if anyone has any others?? i know there was that Miami rap mix by the players years back..... but i meen something up to date, beefy and pumpin. bit like when the bahamen used to be played every time we sacked the QB, ''who let the dooowwwgs out''.........lol

Thing is, i take a few mates from the uk every year to watch a few games. and almost feel embarrassed to sing along to the camp tune.....were in ther air were on the ground..... bla bla, then that banjo noise..... sounds like some hill billy sang it?!

Bein English, and from the soccer background here where the fight songs are abusive and aggressive, i think its time for a change?! anyone agree??? not so much to be abusive......but aggressive!! let them know we mean business!

your views please, also if anyone knows of any links to hear some beefed up versions, or new fight songs.....that would be cool?!:ninja:

yea im gettin kinda sick of it too.

it seems liek a country song, except this team is majority minorities. I think the team song needs some edge

I vote for Afroman - "Because I Got High".

Ricky will perform like there's no tomorrow if he ever comes back.

i grew up listening to it..... i have one of them soft bash toy ball things that playes the tune when you hit it......... ive spent over 23 years listening to it.

But no way can you say its aggressive...... or a fight song.....its to soft.....

they need xzibit or g unit to mix up one or something

big thump up bass line like tag team whooooomp there it is......... or maybe even the will smith Miami instrumental with some fightness lyrics

even at 17, you can easily get sick of hearing it...........in this era and decade you wanna hear somethin pumpin and agressive....not a hill billy country line dance theme

pffft ... quit yer whining about our fightsong... it has worked fine, and we sing the hell out of it at the stadium

It may be a little corny... but it is our fight song! As a matter of fact. Every Sunday that i'm home watching the games(unless I go see Miami) I crank that song up! I even got my 6 and 10 year old to sing it with me! LOVE IT!

i remember a time when it was only played when we scored. seeing as we only scored once a week last season you couldnt have heard it that much lol

Don't like it, plain and simple. Reminds me too much of the Houston Oilers and that monday night game that almost made me cry. Watching Earl Campbell run all over the Dolphins and having that song (Oilers version) playing constantly in the background for the Oilers made me sick. Also having my Dolphin hating Jets loving brother constantly teasing me during the game set me off.

No I don't care for it and wish they would come up with something different already.

The song was fine for the Shula days. It is old and a bit silly. I agree. Let's change it.
Just read the lyrics.
Miami has the Dolphins,
The greatest football team!
We take the ball from goal to goal,
Like no one's ever seen!
We're in the air,
We're on the ground,
We're always in control.
So when you say Miami,
You're talking Super Bowl!

(Chorus 1)
Cause we're the Miami Dolphins,
Miami Dolphins,
Miami Dolphins Number 1.

(Chorus 2)
Yes we're the Miami Dolphins,
Miami Dolphins,
Miami Dolphins Number 1.

They do need to be more aggressive. More Miami Dolphins. More with the times. More hip.
