In this offense the ball is out super quick so that helps with the pass blocking. They will be far better coached than last season and in better condition. They better be able to make some yardage in the run game or the whole offense will get smothered. We need to generate some push or it's up to O'Shea and company to scheme a way to get the ground game moving.

Last season, we were a sloppy team. More often than not we beat ourselves with penalties, bonehead turnovers or losing your cool and drawing a crucial flag at crunchtime. I hope we see a lot less of that under Flores. He knows how important discipline is to a team's success. He has been stressing and teaching it since he got here. I expect for it to translate to the field. The o-line is still a huge question mark.

It's pretty typical to make rookies "earn" their spots, but I'm confident that Michael Deiter will prove to be the class of our interior OL and win the LG spot. That may shift Reed over to RG, where he really belongs, and maybe Davis to RT in a big battle for that RT spot with multiple competitors. Just my $0.02.

On paper, even by adding Deiter, this is a big weakness. Let's see if a quality coaching staff can make the sum of the parts better than the individuals.

Once we start getting into the preseason games, this is going to be one of the areas I'm going to be focused on watching. It's one thing to pass-protect when veterans aren't really rushing at full speed or showing their "A" moves, but if our hogs can move some people and open up some run lanes, that'll bring a smile to my face.

The pass protection we're not going to really know until the bullets start flying for real.

I'm expecting to be at least somewhat pleasantly surprised by the offensive line. That RT spot is a major concern, but it's amazing what coaching can do. Long-term no question the team needs some talent there.

Amen brother. I'm excited about our left side (Tunsil & Deiter), but everything else could use an upgrade. With all those draft picks we have in 2020, we should be able to add a couple pieces to the OL.

Other than how Rosen looks, this is the most important player personnel decision making that has to be made this season. Our offense will get us as far as the o-line take us.

Are people really surprised? You can’t tell me most people are really just now finding out Miami will have a trash O-line.

In other words: The Dolphins need 4 offensive lineman. Maybe one or two come from our current roster - we need to pick up one or two from the leagues scrap heap and trade for one or two.

We are gonna super suck this year.
