I know someone posted that Prisco and Judge saying good things about us and Saban, but 4 out of the 6 "experts" on CBSsportsline pick us to win this week. It's kind of weird to see us getting some positvie media attention.

hmm, that is surprising. I didn't think really any media people would pick the Fins to win this week. Seems the majority think we are going to pull the upset. Lets not let them down. :up:
 
Sounds like a suckers play for the bookies...ever notice some of the sports "experts" hype up the Dog....to get more action.

Three of them even picked GB over the Steelers! :eek:



I'll never udnerstand why people put such stock in power rankings and so-called 'expert' picks. Why not just go to a palm reader and have her tell you who is going to win?


The Falcons will win this game easy. I'd like for it to be competitive because it makes the day more fun, but in reality, Atlanta outclasses Miami at virtually every position on the field...

I had a friend that supports Tampa....he said the same thing as you...Tampa was beaten by the 49ers. Never be ****y....you just may have to eat your order of crow. The Falcons very well could win....but it won't be easy.

There is some justifacation for 2 of those picks...

Jets coming off a bye had 2 weeks to prepare + did beat Sd in last years playoffs.
For Pitt, Ben Roethlisberger may not play cause he aggrevated his knee injury + @ lambeau

Texans however should never be picked for anything except last place

What you have to realize is that these picks are not soley based on who is going to win. They are picking against the spread. Lets explain for the Bird fan:

The five who picked the Chargers think they will win by at least 6.5 points. The guy who picked the Jets doesn't necessarily think New York will win. He just thinks that the Jets won't lose by more then 6.5 points. He thinks they will cover the spread. The four who picked the Texans think Houston won't lose by more then 13.5 points. Same thing goes for the Packer game.

However, by picking the Dolphins they think that Miami will either win or lose by no more then 2.5 points.

Youve got alot to learn about this team. You will not win this game easy. We match up very well. We have a great coach that makes great defensive schemes to neutralize other teams best offensive weapons. Your gonna be surprised on Sunday with the fire were gonna play with and were at home. Vick will not have alot of time and he better make good descisions with the ball in order for you to win. Dont expect a big win for your team, cause its not gonna happen.

Tampa has a terrible OL and no QB. It's not that shocking, particular since they've played a cupcake schedule so far, and Rice was on a plane.

It is true that no one knows how the ball will bounce at times, but there is no rational basis on which to conlude that this is anything but a Falcons win.

Well, if it's spread picks, who cares? I'm a fan, not a bookie...

And on that subject, if you are a betting man, put your money on Atlanta to cover, because 2.5 points will be easy...

:lol: The only real teams you handled easily were the Vikings and Jets. All the other wins were nail biters. 2.5 points will not be easy for you guys. Go ahead, keep underestimating us. I love it! :D
