The play of the secondary in the final 4 games of the season, showed how great a coaching job Miami did with the young players. They played sound football. The final 4 games were played without Jones and McCain and the unit still performed admirably. Imo this is what will make Jones expendable. The question remains about whether or not McCain has also become expendable? The secondary played extremely well against both New England and Philadelphia, both tremendous wins. There are several young players who Miami could keep on the roster. I really like the look of where the secondary is headed, inspite of Howards injury. The Dolphins still need to add a boundary CB and another Safety to complete the overall.
